These terms govern your use of mysite-name's hair salon services across England. Please read them carefully before booking any services to ensure a clear understanding of our operations, client responsibilities, and the service process.

1. Service Agreement

By booking hair services with mysite-name—whether through online booking, phone reservation, or in-salon appointment—you agree to these terms. Our hairdressing services operate in compliance with relevant UK health and safety regulations and beauty industry standards.

We provide professional hair cutting, colouring, styling, and treatment services through our qualified stylists across England.


2. Service Scope and Realistic Expectations

Our services include hair cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments as described in our service menu. We focus on creating looks that work with your hair type, face shape, and lifestyle while using techniques appropriate for your hair's condition.

While we provide expert hairdressing services, final results can be influenced by your hair's natural characteristics, previous chemical treatments, and individual hair behaviour. We use professional techniques and products to achieve the best possible outcome based on your hair's condition.


3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful service experiences, clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about hair history and previous treatments
  • Disclose any known allergies or sensitivities to products
  • Arrive on time for appointments or provide adequate cancellation notice
  • Communicate style preferences and maintenance comfort level clearly
  • Follow aftercare advice provided by your stylist

Clear communication and cooperation help us provide the best possible service for your hair needs.


4. Consultations and Service Planning

We include consultation time with every service to discuss your preferences, assess your hair's condition, and plan the appropriate approach. For complex colour changes or significant style transformations, we may recommend a separate consultation appointment to ensure we have adequate time for thorough planning.

Consultation fees may apply for extended planning sessions and are typically deductible from services booked within 14 days.


5. Booking and Appointment Management

Appointments can be booked through our website, by phone, or in person. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time and stylist. Appointment times are estimates and may vary based on service complexity and hair condition.

We cannot guarantee specific stylist availability without a confirmed booking and may need to reschedule if your preferred stylist becomes unavailable.


6. Colour Services and Realistic Outcomes

Hair colour results can vary based on your natural hair colour, previous colour applications, and hair condition. We provide colour consultations to discuss realistic outcomes and may recommend multiple sessions to achieve certain colour goals while maintaining hair health.

Colour correction services may require additional time and cost, which will be discussed during your consultation.


7. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance. We accept various payment methods including cash, major credit/debit cards, and contactless payments. Service prices are based on time, product usage, and stylist expertise.

Additional services or product usage beyond the initial estimate may affect the final cost, which will be communicated before proceeding.


8. Health and Safety

We maintain high standards of hygiene with proper tool sterilisation and salon cleanliness. All implements are cleaned and disinfected between clients according to industry standards. We conduct patch tests for colour services when indicated by your sensitivity history.

Clients with contagious scalp conditions or open wounds may be declined service for health and safety reasons, with rescheduling offered once the condition resolves.


9. Product Usage and Allergies

We use professional-grade hair products suitable for most hair types and conditions. Clients are responsible for disclosing known allergies or sensitivities during the consultation process. We cannot accept responsibility for allergic reactions when clients have not disclosed known allergies.

Patch testing is available for clients with known sensitivities and is recommended before colour services if you have a history of reactions.


10. Late Arrivals and Cancellations

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can affect appointment timing. If you're running late, please contact us so we can advise if we can still accommodate your service. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled.

We request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect future booking availability and could require pre-payment for services.


11. Service Adjustments

If you're not completely satisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment. We offer service adjustments within 7 days of the original service to address any aspects that didn't meet your expectations, subject to assessment by the salon manager.

Service adjustments are offered for workmanship-related concerns and do not include changes to style choices made during the consultation.


12. Photography and Social Media

We may request permission to photograph your finished style for your reference and, with separate written consent, for our professional portfolios and social media. You may withdraw consent for image use at any time by contacting us in writing.

Personal photography during services is welcome, though we request that it doesn't disrupt the service flow or other clients' experiences.


13. Liability Limitations

Our liability for services is limited to the cost of the service provided. We cannot accept responsibility for aspects beyond our control such as individual hair behaviour, previously damaged hair condition, or dissatisfaction with style choices that were approved during consultations.

We maintain appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance for our salon operations.


14. Children's Services

We welcome children aged 12 and under for hair services, with parent or guardian supervision required throughout the appointment. For children's first visits, we recommend scheduling during quieter periods to allow for a comfortable introduction to salon services.

Children's services are tailored to be age-appropriate and focus on creating positive early experiences with professional hair care.


15. Terms Modification

We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, UK regulations, or industry practices. The current terms are always available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
